For which languages can I go to Atelier T?
Translators first and foremost work from foreign languages into their native language. After all, this is the language of which we know all nuances and we have most command of. I personally translate and revise translations from French, Spanish and English into Dutch.
As I live and work in Flanders, it’s logical that I’m often asked to translate from Dutch into a foreign language. This isn’t a problem for French, as I studied in Paris for a year and always maintained contact with French-speaking acquaintances, friends and customers. If you wish or if I find it necessary for more specialised texts, I appeal to a French-speaking reviser. With regard to Spanish, these texts are always revised by a native Spanish speaker, unless this prevents a tight deadline. In this case, I will explicitly inform you and only submit the text with your permission. Finally, for translations into English, I cooperate with English translators.
For other common languages, such as German, Italian, Portuguese, etc. I gladly refer you to fellow translators who are specialised in these languages. Or, if you prefer, I contact them for you and everything is centralised and settled by Atelier T. So if you have a document that needs to be translated into several languages, this isn’t a problem. Together we ensure that it looks perfect in all languages!
